Flash is used to present ideas, concepts, and messages by utilizing the power of multimedia; including sight, sound, motion, and animation. Flash has numerous and diverse implementations. These range from a slow, calming, ambient affect to a fast paced high impact presentation that gets your customer’s heart racing and builds their excitement. Either way, there is a good implementation of Flash for just about every type of website.
Yes I already hear you saying that Flash is not SEO friendly and you are right. But if flash is implemented in the right way and targeted at the right user you will always have the right impact which will be only be beneficial for your business. And these are not just words, visit our website http://www.felixlabs.com. We have been in the industry for over 5 years and since the time the flash version is up our total visits and clientage has doubled. As a company we are also looking to expand our business and are creating a XHTML version which will be optimized and will run parallely to the flash version. And the new version of Felix Labs will also have its share of flash animation.
And ofcourse trends change. Google is already coming up image indexing technology which will be able to recognize images on a website. The web world is evolving at the speed of light and not far is the day when flash will also be a SEO friendly term. It may not be known as flash but may be a different technology but the concept of animation will be there.
